Night at the Broadway
Melissa has been playing in the OffBroadway take off of Its a wonderful Life. WHich they have called Its a Wondrous Life. We went to go see her perform. WE laughed sooo hard. Melissa played one of Georges childhood friends that he introduces to Ernie. They did a take off on Ernie and Bert where Melissa and Viola came out and sang "Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Stephanies Street?" I wish I could have taped that part! but when they pulled Glen out of the audience to play a part I couldnt keep my recorder still. I figured taping that part would be legal. ( So I got a snippet of Melissa too) :-) What a night!!!

So here's the story:
After going to her parents and asking permission, (I know-sooo coool!) He invited them to go with him to pick out the ring!
Then he went to the beauty school where her class was practicing pedicures. It being halloween, he slipped a rat into one sock and the ring box in the other. She slipped her hand in the sock with the rat in it, and "freaked out". THen when she saw something in the other sock, she hesitated, not knowing what that might be. When she finally put her hand in and pulled out the ring box, Michael got down on one knee and proposed. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall. :-)
We are very excited to welcome Niki into our family.
They came to our house dressed as this ghostly bride and groom. Mom didnt see the ring till Michael said outloud several times: "mom isnt seeing how beautiful you are Niki!" (emphasizing beautiful louder and louder each time. :-) Yah, I know. Im slow.
